Illustrative example — not a real score.
TOEFL changed completely on 21 January 2026 — a new 1.0–6.0 scale, adaptive Reading and Listening, and new Speaking and Writing tasks. Almost all the prep material out there was written for the old 0–120 test, so it practises an exam that no longer exists. And many tools hand out flattering, inflated scores to keep you happy — which is the opposite of help: you walk into the real exam overconfident and underprepared.
AlmiTOEFL is built on one principle: tell you the truth. We practise the real new format and score you honestly on the 1.0–6.0 scale — even when it's lower than you hoped — so you walk in prepared, not surprised.
Each section is scored 1.0–6.0, and your overall is the average of the four. Practise one at a time, or take a full mock test.
The new item-based Reading tasks. Auto-scored objectively, then mapped to your 1.0–6.0 band — instant, honest results with a per-item review. The real exam adapts its difficulty as you go; this practice is fixed-form.
Practise Reading →Real audio across the new Listening task set. Auto-scored and mapped to 1.0–6.0, with the transcript revealed only after you answer.
Practise Listening →Listen and Repeat (hear a sentence, say it back) and Take an Interview (answer spoken questions). You record; we transcribe and give honest AI feedback on a 1.0–6.0 band — never an inflated score.
Practise Speaking →The three new Writing tasks. Honest AI feedback on task fulfilment, organisation and language — scored 1.0–6.0, with what to fix, not flattery.
Practise Writing →The whole test back-to-back, just like exam day. Your overall is the AVERAGE of the four section bands (not a sum), with CEFR and an honest read on which section to focus on next.
Practise Full Mock Test →The new TOEFL reports each section 1.0–6.0 and averages the four. We score you the same way — honestly — so your practice band means something.
Built for the NEW format — The 1.0–6.0 scale, adaptive Reading/Listening and the new Speaking and Writing tasks — not recycled pre-2026 material that no longer matches the test.
Honest scoring, not flattery — Reading and Listening auto-score objectively; Speaking and Writing get AI feedback on a 1.0–6.0 band. If it's weak, we say so.
Original material — Every passage, audio script and prompt is written from scratch — never copied from ETS.
The average rule, done right — Your overall is the average of the four sections on the new scale — exactly how ETS reports it since 21 January 2026.

TOEFL changed completely on 21 January 2026 — a new 1.0–6.0 band scale, adaptive Reading and Listening, new Speaking and Writing tasks, and results in ~72 hours. ETS asks you to allow about two hours for the test, and because it adapts the time and item count vary. Any prep from before January 2026 is obsolete. And during the 2026–2028 transition some universities still list old 0–120 requirements — check both.
The score you need on the new 1–6 scale, plus which routes accept TOEFL — honest and sourced.
TOEFL is great for university admission — but it is NOT accepted for Canadian PR or UK visas, and Australian visas still use the old 0–120 scores. We tell you where TOEFL works and where you'll need IELTS (AlmiPrep) or PTE (AlmiPTE) instead. No fabricated scores.
All four sections in the Jan 2026 format, honest 1.0–6.0 feedback, a full mock test, original material — for $12/month, cancel anytime.
